To Sleep or Not To Sleep

Every morning I wake up around 10:30, I try to sleep even longer but that seems to be the latest I can sleep in to. Then around 1:30-2:00pm I go and have a nap to make even more of the day go by. I’m lonely and stressed and can’t get motivated to do anything. It generally sucks.

Today to my horror I woke up at 9:00 and didn’t nap. I spent the entire day watching America’s Next Top Model. I got 1 load of laundry done. I was still lonely and stressed but I spent more of my day awake.

I’m not sure which is better, do any of you sleep just to pass the time?

My mood was ok, just ok. Better than depressed though.

  1. Sleep is difficult. Sometimes I would like to sleep to get away from reality. I have trouble wanting to go to sleep at night because I dread the way I feel when I wake up in the morning. If i am off from work, I try to take a nap, but I feel guilty because of my kids, although I don’t know why because they are old enough to look after themselves while I take a nap.

    If I am tired at work, from lack of sleep, I will tell myself I will go to sleep earlier tonight, but I never actually go to sleep before 3 or 4 am. Sometimes it is am.

    My entire sleep schedule has gotten worse since I have moved into this house with my ex inlaws. I try to avoid them during the day, so I do my laundry, shower, carry our my trash and all of that in the middle of the night.

    I even grocery shop in the middle of the night because i do not like them seeing how much I spent or what i bought. They are very controlling and jump to conclusions quickly. If i have a lot of grocery bags then maybe I can afford to pay them more rent…I can’t even afford the 1,000 they are charging me and still have enough food for the kids.

    So that was not helpful to you at all, was it ? LOL
    We can both hope to sleep tonight and I hope you get a nap.
